A tour of the sidebar

Where everything lives in GenPage - the main navigation, the settings navigation, the workspace menu and the icons at the bottom of the sidebar.

On this page

The sidebar on the left is how you move around a workspace. It has two faces: the main navigation you see every day, and a settings navigation that replaces it while you are in settings. Both end in the same workspace menu at the bottom.

The main navigation

The main sidebar on the Overview page, with its navigation groups highlighted

From top to bottom:

  • The GenPage logo takes you back to Overview from anywhere.
  • New Landing Page starts a new page.
  • Overview is the dashboard for the workspace.
  • Create holds what you make: Landing Pages, Templates and Playbooks.
  • Campaigns holds where visitors come from: Google Ads and Audiences.
  • Optimize holds how pages perform: Analytics, Autopilot and Alerts. A lock next to Autopilot means it is not yet enabled for your workspace.
  • Setup holds what shapes every page: Brands, Variables and Concierge (marked Beta).

Brands appears only for the Owner and Admin roles. Members do not see it.

Below the navigation, Book 1:1 Demo offers a call with the GenPage team; the × next to it hides the button.

The icons at the bottom

Three small icons sit above the workspace menu:

  • Settings opens your account settings and switches the sidebar to the settings navigation.
  • Usage opens a small panel with your Plan credits, Top-up credits and the date they reset (members see their own Credits used instead). Credit usage at the top of the panel opens the billing page.
  • Earn credits opens the referral dialog.

The settings navigation

Open settings and the sidebar switches to a second set of links, grouped by what they configure. Back to app at the top returns to the main navigation.

The settings sidebar with its Account, Workspace, Configure, Developers and Billing & Usage groups highlighted
  • Account: Profile, Preferences, API Keys. Everyone sees these.
  • Workspace: Profile, Team, Domains.
  • Configure: Models, MCP, Integrations, Alerts.
  • Developers: Embed SDK, Webhooks.
  • Billing & Usage: Billing, Usage.

What you see depends on your role: Team, Domains, Configure and Developers are for the Owner and Admin roles, and Billing is for the Owner only. Members see Account, the workspace Profile and Usage.

The workspace menu

The entry at the very bottom shows the workspace you are in and its address. Click it to open the workspace menu.

The workspace menu open at the bottom of the sidebar, with Log Out highlighted
  • Every workspace you own or were invited to is listed. The one you are in has a check mark; Primary marks the workspace that carries your plan. Click another one to switch.
  • Create new workspace starts a new one. A Scale badge next to it means your current plan allows one workspace only.
  • Support Center and Affiliate open the GenPage website.
  • Log Out signs you out on this device.
