Accept a team invite

When someone adds you to their workspace, GenPage emails you an invitation. Accepting it puts the workspace in your account with the role the inviter chose.

Before you start

• The invitation is tied to the email address it was sent to. You accept it with a GenPage account that uses that same address.
• If you do not have an account yet, the invitation link lets you create one on the spot, with your email address already filled in.

Accept from the email

1. Open the email from GenPage (its subject is … invited you to join … on GenPage) and click Accept Invite. If the button does not work, copy the link printed under it into your browser.

2. GenPage checks the invitation (Validating your invite...) and shows who invited you and to which workspace. What comes next depends on whether you are signed in:

   • Not signed in: the page is titled Join … with the workspace name. Click Sign Up to Join to create an account, or Sign In under it if you already have one. Either way the email field is filled in for you and cannot be changed, and you come straight back to the invitation afterwards. New accounts skip the usual workspace setup.
   • Signed in with the invited address: the page is titled You've been invited and shows the role you will get. Click Accept Invite.

3. GenPage shows You're in! and opens the workspace on its Landing Pages page.

If something is off

• Wrong account means you are signed in with a different email address than the one invited. Click Sign In with a Different Account and sign in with the invited address.

• Invite already accepted means you are already a member. Click Go to Workspace.

• Invalid invite link appears when the invitation was cancelled or the link is incomplete. Ask the person who invited you to send a new one from Workspace → Team.

  

• Something went wrong is a temporary problem. Click Try Again, and if it keeps happening ask for the invitation to be resent.
