Change or cancel your plan
Switch to another plan from the plan cards, or open the billing portal with Manage Subscription to cancel your subscription or update billing details.
On this page
Once you are on a paid plan, changes happen in two places. The plan cards on the Overview tab of Billing & Usage → Billing switch you to another plan or ads module band, and the Manage Subscription button opens the Stripe billing portal for everything else, including cancelling.
Before you start
- You need to be the workspace Owner; Billing only appears in the sidebar for owners.
- Plan changes and Manage Subscription live on your primary workspace, the one that carries the subscription. Other workspaces you own only show the Credits tab.
Switch to another plan
-
Open Billing & Usage → Billing. On the Overview tab, set the credits per month (and on Scale, the ads module) on the card you want, then click Upgrade.

What happens next depends on the change:
- An upgrade — to a higher price, or a switch between monthly and annual — applies immediately. The difference for the rest of the current period is charged right away, and you see Plan updated — prorated charge applied. You also get the remaining share of the new monthly credit allowance for the rest of the current credit cycle.
- A downgrade on the same billing period waits for your next renewal. You see Downgrade scheduled — switches on the renewal date, and until then the card notes Switching to … credits on that date.
- The card of the plan you are on reads Current Plan and cannot be clicked.
-
On Scale, changing only the ads module band with the same credits turns the button into Update Ads Module or Remove Ads Module. Adding or enlarging a band is charged immediately; removing it puts the unused time as credit on your next invoice.
Cancel or manage the subscription
-
Click Manage Subscription at the top right of the Billing page. You leave GenPage for the Stripe billing portal and return to your landing pages when you are done.

Cancelling happens in the portal. It also shows your invoices and the card on file, the same things the Billing History and Payment Method tabs show inside GenPage.
What happens when you cancel
- When the subscription ends, the workspace loses its plan. You receive a warning email, and 72 hours later your published pages are taken offline.
- Unused credit top-ups are forfeited 30 days after the cancellation. A downgrade does not affect them.
- The Overview tab keeps showing the plan cards, so you can subscribe again at any time.
