Credits explained
What credits are, what spends them, how the monthly allowance and top-ups work, and where to see and control the balance across your workspaces.
On this page
Credits are GenPage's unit of usage. Your plan gives you a monthly allowance, you can buy top-ups on top of it, and both are pooled across every workspace you own. The Credits and Grants tabs of Billing & Usage → Billing show the balance; the usage popover in the sidebar shows it from anywhere.
What spends credits
Credits are spent when you create things, never on traffic to your pages: 1 credit per published page variant and 0.1 per AI enrichment. Pages and leads, the AI page builder, enrichments, AI variables and Google Ads keyword pages all draw on the same pool; the Usage page breaks the spend down by category.
When the pool is empty you see You're out of credits. Published pages stay live; only new generations, publishing and enrichment pause until you have credits again.
Plan credits and top-ups
-
Open Billing & Usage → Billing and click Credits.

The Credit pool section shows four numbers:
- Available now — everything you can spend right now: plan credits plus top-ups.
- Plan credits — what is left of this month's allowance. The line underneath shows the full allowance and the reset date.
- Top-up credits — purchased and granted credits not yet used.
- Used this cycle — credits spent across all your workspaces since the last reset.

Plan credits are spent first, then top-ups, starting with whichever expires soonest. Plan credits reset every month; top-ups survive the reset and expire 12 months after purchase. See Buy a credit top-up.
Credit limits per workspace
-
The Workspaces section lists every workspace you own with its credits used this cycle and its limit; ∞ means unlimited. Click the limit to edit it, type a number of credits and click the save icon, or leave the field empty for unlimited. The × icon next to it discards the change.

A limit caps what that one workspace can draw from the pool; its members see Credits used against the limit in their usage popover.
The usage popover
-
Click the usage icon at the bottom of the sidebar (its tooltip reads Usage). The popover shows Plan credits and Top-up credits as meters, plus the reset date. Credit usage at the top opens the Credits tab.

Grants
-
The Grants tab lists bonus credits — added by the GenPage team or earned through the referral program — with the amount granted, what is left, the reason and a status of Active, Used, Expired or Forfeited. Spent grants stay listed as history. While a grant has a balance it counts towards Top-up credits on the Credits tab.
