MCP servers

Use GenPage from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor through the official GenPage MCP server, and give GenPage's own agent extra tools by adding MCP servers.

Configure → MCP works in two directions. Use GenPage from your AI tools connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another MCP client to this workspace so they can create campaigns, generate pages and enrich leads for you. Connected servers does the opposite: it gives GenPage's own page-building agent extra tools from MCP servers you add. Only owners and admins can open the page.

Use GenPage from your AI tools

  1. Open Configure → MCP. The GenPage row marked Official shows the address of GenPage's hosted MCP server; Copy URL copies it. Below it, one tab per client (Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, Other) lists the steps for that client and ends with the exact text to paste, each with its own copy button.

  2. For Claude, for example, the steps are: open Settings → Connectors in Claude and click Add custom connector; name it GenPage and paste the URL; click Connect, approve access, and choose this workspace on the GenPage consent screen. It works in Claude on the web and in the desktop app.

  3. Clients that cannot sign in with OAuth (see the Other tab) authenticate with a GenPage API key instead. Create one under Account → API Keys; a key is bound to the workspace it was created in, and API keys need a Scale plan. Full setup docs and tool reference opens the complete documentation.

Add a server for GenPage's agent

  1. Under Connected servers, click Add Server. Until you add one, the section reads Connect your first MCP server and explains what the servers are for: searching a design library, querying your docs, or pulling data from your own systems while the agent builds pages. These tools are used on Anthropic and OpenAI models.

  2. In the Add MCP server dialog, type a Name (letters, numbers, dashes and underscores only; the agent sees it as the server's label) and the Server URL, which must start with https://. Under Authentication choose None, API token or OAuth (sign in), then click Add Server.

    • API token adds an Authorization token field. The token is stored encrypted and never shown again; when you edit the server later, leave the field blank to keep it.
    • OAuth (sign in) adds an optional OAuth client ID. Most servers register automatically, so leave it blank unless the provider publishes a client ID in its docs. After saving, a sign-in window opens for the server.

  3. The server appears in the list with an Active badge. The agent picks up its tools on its next run. The switch at the end of the row turns the server off and on without removing it (the badge then reads Off), the pencil opens Edit MCP server, and the trash icon removes it.

Remove a server

Click the trash icon in the row. The Remove MCP server dialog warns that the AI agent will immediately lose access to its tools; click Confirm to remove it.
