Variables and personalisation
Variables are the blanks GenPage fills per lead. See the system ones, add your own, and give each a fallback.
On this page
A variable is a blank in your page that GenPage fills in per lead. Write ((Company Name)) into a headline and every lead sees their own company there. Setup → Variables lists every blank your workspace can fill.
The list
Each row shows the Variable Name, its Variable Type, the Scope it belongs to, which Page it applies to, who created it and its Fallback. The tabs above split the list: All, Lead, Google Ads and Sequence.
System variables
Rows marked System and carrying the GenPage mark under Created By come with every workspace: Company Name, Company Domain, Company Logo, Email, Lead First Name, Lead Last Name, Linkedin Profile Url and Profile Picture. They fill themselves from the lead's own details as soon as you import leads. You can edit a system variable's fallback, but you cannot delete one — the Delete Variable option is not offered and their checkboxes are disabled.
Workspaces connected to Google Ads also get a set of keyword variables, so an ad-click visitor sees copy written around the keyword they searched for.

Under Apply to, choose Leads or Google Ads. Fallback Value (optional) is what appears when a lead has nothing for this field, so a page never shows an empty gap. On the AI types you also get an AI Prompt (optional) box describing what to generate; you can add or change it later.

Type ((Variable Name)) anywhere in your page copy — including the Title and Description under Page settings, where a Variables button inserts one for you. Each lead's page is rendered with their own values in place.
The three dots at the end of a row have Edit Variable for the fallback and prompt, and Delete Variable. Tick several rows and a Delete button appears above the table for removing them at once.
