Import leads
Bring leads into a workspace from a CSV file, by hand, or from HeyReach, Instantly, HubSpot and Salesforce.
On this page
Importing is how leads get into a workspace. You start from Campaigns → Audiences, pick where the leads come from, check how their columns map onto your variables, and decide what should happen to them once they land.
Start an import
-
On the leads table, click Import.
All Leads table with the Import button highlighted in the toolbar -
The Import Leads page opens. Drop a file onto Drop your CSV here, or click Browse Files. CSV is the only file format, and the first row is read as the column headers.

If you have no file, use the rail on the right instead. Add Manually gives you an empty table you can type or paste into, with Add Row and Add Variable to shape it.

Map the columns
-
GenPage matches your columns to page variables automatically, and shows you the result before anything is imported. Each column header carries the variable it will fill; open it to pick another, to Create New Variable, or to choose Don't Import so the column is skipped. The footer counts how many columns are Mapped and how many are still unmapped. At least one column has to be mapped to a variable.
-
Click Continue to open the Import Leads panel, which walks three steps:
- Audiences — put the leads in None, an Existing audience, or a Create new one you name here.
- Enrichments — optional research on each lead, priced per lead. See Enrich leads.
- Generate (Optional) — tick Generate landing pages and pick one or more templates.
-
Finish with Import N Leads.
What happens next
The import runs in the background: you are taken to the audience (or back to the leads list), and the header shows the import progress until it finishes. New leads appear in the table as they are processed.
If you chose a template in Generate (Optional), GenPage creates one personalized landing page per lead for each template you selected, and the page address shows up in the lead's Link column.
