Change the workspace picture
Upload a PNG or JPEG as the workspace picture from Workspace → Profile. It shows in the sidebar and the workspace switcher; owners and admins can change it.
On this page
The workspace picture is the small square next to the workspace name at the bottom of the sidebar and in the workspace switcher. Until you upload one, GenPage shows the first letter of the workspace name. You change it on Workspace → Profile.
Before you start
- You need the Owner or Admin role. Members see the picture but cannot click it.
- Have a PNG or JPEG file ready that is smaller than 5 MB. Other formats are not accepted.
Change the picture
-
In the sidebar, open Workspace → Profile. The Picture row is the first row under General.
Workspace profile page with the picture button in the Picture row highlighted -
Click the picture. When you move the pointer over it, an add-image icon appears to show that it can be changed. Your browser's file picker opens.
-
Choose a PNG or JPEG file. There is no separate save step: GenPage uploads the file straight away and shows Workspace picture updated!.
What happens next
The new picture appears in the Picture row, at the bottom of the sidebar and in the workspace switcher list. If the file is larger than 5 MB, GenPage shows Image must be smaller than 5 MB and keeps the old picture. If the upload fails for another reason, the old picture is kept as well.
