Rename a workspace

Change a workspace's name and its URL slug from the Profile settings. Owners and admins can rename a workspace; members cannot.

· For owners and admins

On this page

A workspace has a name, which appears in the sidebar and the workspace switcher, and a URL slug, which forms its genpa.ge address. You change both from Workspace → Profile.

Before you start

  • You need the Owner or Admin role in the workspace. Members can open the Profile page, but the Manage section is not shown to them.
  • Renaming does not touch your landing pages, leads or team. Changing the slug does change the workspace address; see the warning below.

Rename the workspace

  1. In the sidebar, open Workspace → Profile. The General section shows the current picture, Name and URL.

  2. Scroll to Manage and click Rename.

  3. In the Rename Workspace dialog, type the new name under Workspace Name. To change the address as well, edit Workspace URL; that is the part after genpa.ge/.

  4. Click Save Changes.

The page updates with the new name. If you changed the slug, GenPage takes you to the workspace's new address automatically.

If you do not see Rename

You are signed in as a Member. Ask an owner or admin of the workspace to rename it, or to change your role under Workspace → Team.
