Autopilot experiments
Autopilot runs champion-versus-challenger experiments on your landing pages and promotes the winner. It is a closed beta you apply for per workspace.
This feature is in beta. Screens may differ slightly from what you see here.
On this page
Autopilot tests your landing pages against themselves. It splits traffic between the page you have now and an alternative, measures which one actually converts, and promotes the winner — with AI proposing the next challenger from what your visitors do. It sits under Optimize → Autopilot.
It is a closed beta
-
Autopilot is on the sidebar for everyone, with a padlock beside it until your workspace has been let in. Clicking it shows GenPage Autopilot is in closed beta and what the feature does.

Click Apply for the Closed Beta. GenPage confirms with Application received — we'll be in touch, and the page then reads Application received — we'll be in touch when your workspace is in whenever you come back. Book a Demo opens a booking page in a new tab instead.
-
Access is granted one workspace at a time, so applying in one workspace does not open Autopilot in the others.
How an experiment works, once you are in
- An experiment runs on one landing page and holds a champion — the page as it is today — and one or more challengers.
- Traffic is split between them and GenPage counts conversions per variant. You choose what counts as a conversion when you set the experiment up: Button & CTA clicks or Form submits.
- Each pass is a round. When a round ends the winner is promoted and the next round starts from it, so the page keeps improving instead of resetting.
- You decide how much of that GenPage does alone: Manual means you write every variant and pick every winner, Copilot means the AI writes the variants for each round and emails you to approve them, and Autopilot means it runs the rounds itself and tells you at the moments that matter.
- New Experiment walks you through four steps — Landing page, Test canvas, Configure and Variants — where the test canvas is where you point at the headline, button, image or section you want changed.
The Autopilot list
Experiments are listed with their Status, the Page they run on, and how many Rounds, Visitors and how much Lift they have produced. Filters narrows the list by Status (Running, Draft, Paused, Completed), by Outcome (Promoted, No winner, Stopped) and by Metric.
