The Visitors & Sessions and Engagement & Performance boards
What each number on the two remaining GenPage dashboards means, from unique visitors to long engagement and hourly activity.
On this page
Besides Traffic Overview, GenPage builds two more dashboards for every workspace. Visitors & Sessions answers who came, and Engagement & Performance answers what they did. Both are in the list under Optimize → Analytics, and both carry the same Filters, date range and Refresh controls as Traffic Overview.
Visitors & Sessions
-
Open Visitors & Sessions from the Analytics list. Four numbers sit at the top, each with a small trend line beside it:
- Unique Visitors — separate visits recorded in the period.
- Page Views — how many times your pages were loaded, so repeat views count.
- Session Duration — total time on page divided by unique visitors.
- Engagement — the share of visitors who clicked at least one button.

Below them, five cards break the same visitors down: Top Countries and Top Sources list the five biggest by visitors, Devices splits Desktop, Mobile and Tablet, Browsers covers Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox and Other, and Languages shows the browser languages visitors arrived with.
Engagement & Performance
-
Open Engagement & Performance. Engagement Over Time plots three lines on one percentage axis — Engagement, Long engagement and Click rate — and four figures sit to its right:
- Engagement Rate — visitors who clicked at least one button, as a share of all visitors.
- Long Engagement — visitors who stayed longer than 30 seconds, as a share of all visitors.
- Engaged Visitors — the count behind the engagement rate, with the share repeated underneath.
- Long-Engaged — the count of visitors who stayed past 30 seconds.
The Engagement & Performance board with the Engagement Over Time chart, the four engagement figures and the Hourly Activity chart -
Hourly Activity below the chart bars the average visitors per hour across the period you picked. The busiest hour is drawn solid and named in the corner as Peak, for example
PEAK 2PM–3PM. Top Sources and Devices close the board.
When the boards are empty
With no recorded traffic the numbers sit at zero, the cards say No data yet and the charts draw a flat line. That is the normal state of a workspace whose pages have not been visited yet. Neither board can be edited — they belong to GenPage. To arrange these numbers your own way, build a custom board instead.
